Yagga, real name Aboor Abraham Ayaau Riak, is one of South Sudan’s biggest content creators. Born in Nimule and raised across Kampala and Nairobi, he turned everyday East African life into comedy that travels, building a following in the hundreds of thousands with reaction videos, skits, and sharp cultural commentary.
His rise was fast. After posting through 2020 with little traction, the videos caught fire in 2021, and the brand deals followed, including campaigns with names like Coca-Cola and 1xBet that each crossed a million views. Today he is one of the fastest-rising names to watch from the region.
Off camera, Yagga trades Forex and talks markets with a growing community. He has been open about the hard parts too, including big losses he fought his way back from, and used what he earned to build his mother a house back home in Nimule.
